Not sure I'd be the best to answer, I mostly learned through studying/editing scripts themselves.

But those links the others sent you look pretty good. If nothing else, try http://www.w3schools.com . They get you some good starters, though not sure I'd recommend them to make you a master at PHP.

If you're having trouble try learning HTML/CSS/JavaScript before starting PHP, it will help a lot.
