What forum softwares have you used in the past and whic one made best impresion on you (next to MyBB)?

I've tried Phpbb2, Phpbb3, vBulletin and tried to make my own forum with my php knowledge, but it didn't go as expected

My history would just be forum hosts. (I.E, IPBFREE, Createmybb, etc, etc)

Then I finally got past that point and am now working on My BB.

I like it very much.

I have used only MyBB and don't feel like using any other

Many forums I had used in the past including UseBB, vB, lollyBB, Beehive Forum, Drupal Forum, E-Blah, FluxBB, MiniBB, Phorum, PhpBB 3, Simple Machines Forum and IPB.
A really big list...!

I've used SMF, MiniBB, PunBB, PhpBB2, PhpBB3, vB, IPB..

I see that you all have used a lot of different softwares before you found MyBB, but whic of the forums you've used was the best?? (MyBB should not be included)

As I said before, I only use forum hosts for IPB, MyBB, PhpBB, etc, etc. I didn't get the "feel" to it so I ended up quitting it. The only reason I went to My BB was because it's free, and also MyBBCentral attracted it to me. I was reading a hack forums thread when someone noted MyBBCentral and how he gets this excellent forum because of it. So I did some research and I'm loving it!

I also partly went to the real MyBB because I could upload plug-ins and files. I couldn't do that on forum hosts...

I've had extensive usage with vBulletin on my commercial endeavors, but just started using mybb on a small guild site and I really like it so far. I'd prefer to use vBulletin because I'm so comfortable using it, but you can't beat free.

I used to prefer Vbulletin over MyBB, but I've come to the realization that $180-200 (whatever VB charges this day) is money that could be spent on something that actually benefits my life

I have used a beta version of phpBB3. Lots of things didn`t worked and I have lost 20 users.
I hate phpBB and I love MyBB!
