hie guys,

since i am very new at forum thingy! would need guidance from all the experts out there about how can i make my forum more and more popular..

all the tips will be appreciated with sincere thanks

I think that the best way to start is to go to sites that allow you to advertise your site (like ForumAdvertiser was), you get some people to advertise it for you trough affiliate linking (like you're planing to do), add link to your site into your cool signature (many users click signatures - tested and works perfectly) or you can do it the old fashion way by telling your friends to register and then your friends, friends will register and then friends, friends, friends will register...I think you get the point

If I was you I would do all those things to get forum started (whic I'm planing to to when released). Doing this will get you minimum of 20 regular users (if you have active and interesting posts).

Oh! Don't forget to add general discussion to your forum for those people that don't find themselfs in the other forums that are dedicated to the specific genre or type.

hmmmm... i am already doing above things.. however, i need to add other general interest sections to attract people not related to ptc..

forumadvertiser is another good thing... lemme search such similar websites..

* use points system
* allow your users to buy some usefull and interesting things
* make competitions
* make your skin unique

@markrevis, how did your MyBux reached -2?? has mybbsource started offering loan?

thanks for ideas guys, i am looking ahead to make new forum.. will try and use them all in that one, since my current forum was just to learn about how to manage one!

Some months ago I have -16 because I bought something from the shop.
Now I have some more MyBux.
