I've noticed in several posts that you guys don't recommend dot.tk as a short domain. I would like to know why since I've been using dot.tk in future and I must say that I didn't had any complains and/or problems with them.

I can say that I was happy when they released the Ambasador program so that users can get 1 year of free paid *.tk domain. I've earn it and loved the paid features :)

I think that dot.tk is best solution for a free domain next to co.cc . What do you think and most importantly, WHY you think that other free domain providers are better?

dot.tk offers DNS or just redirection?
I don`t like it, I`ve redirected a site than in 1 months I got only ads on that page and not my site. :(

.TK is good for personal sites like my blogw

Because with dot.tk, Google can't index specific pages. If you have a forum, you can't access a particular forum. Dot.tk only masks the actualy domain, plus it just makes the site feel unprofessional. I would never register to a forum that used a .tk domain.

Wierd, I've tried their services recently just to make sure if they still give adds. But as far as I see, there were no adds, I might be wrong though.

And your point....? Most people who view your site won't have this "script" you talk about. And responding with "get a script to remove the ads" is ridiculous and you know it.

If you're going to use a free domain use .co.cc or .co.nr because they are less used domains and are less likely to be quickly ignored. .tk is infamous for being hack sites, and spam sites, along with sites ran by annoying little kids.

So, .tk is always a bad idea.
