I'm trying to add group images to the usergroups in my forum. However, each time I try to do so, I receive a MySQL error (screenshot at the bottom). I tried to resolve this by just disabling the MyShoutbox plugin (it seems to be causing the problem), but that didn't help. I was wondering if I could somehow edit the Manage Usergroups page so the options causing the problem just weren't there? Or, rather, if there's a better way to fix the problem.

I should just make a thread of all my problems xP. I'm having so many atm

I've never heard of that.
But then again, i never used that shoutbox. Seems like a bug. Better report it, and wait until they update it, or you disable it. Not much you can do.

Yeah I agree with Dalton . Disabling that plugin will solve your peoblem as the page wil won`t require the tabled column "can_view_shoutbox" !

Tried that. No effect at all o.O Not sure what too do from here.


Has anybody got a recommendation of a different shoutbox BTW?

EDIT: Sorted the problem. I tried MyBB support, but worked it out myself in the end ;D The hardest part was gaining access to phpMyAdmin >.>

What was the solution?

I added the column "can_view_shoutbox* in "field list". That got rid of that error, then another came up and I added a different column which was needed. ;P

BTW ... I think that that plugin contains many bugs if the author can`t even include the required tables in plugin installer

Yup. That's why I've stopped using it ;P
