SMF has a wonderful addon called SMF Links

Must Haves:

1. Custom Categories
2. Member permissions for submitting links
3. Setting for admins to approve or auto approve submissions
4. Permissions per group to view the Links page
5. Set the number of links displayed per page.
   

So basically a links directory?

Yes, but one that's controlled via the acp, has group permissions and so on.

wasn't there a guy on mybboard.net making one? As you can see, MyBBSource could use one, so this is a definite possibility

I have asked on mybboard.net, but no takers. Labrocca has a full schedule and isn't taking any more requests.
I wanted to ask earlier, but you were working on the whole MyBlogs thing, so i didn't want to add to it.
But if this can be accomplished, i can use it on a couple of different site. One site...it's needed a.s.a.p.
