There aren't that many mods. Plus it's about more than just following the rules.

You have to prove you are friendly and proper. Also that you have at least a little knowledge to offer support when needed.

1. There's only 4 mods.
2. You have to actually try and help people.
3. us propr spelln, n grammr!!!!!!! (That's one of my top 10 annoyances)
4. If you whine and ask to be a mod, that lessens your chances of becoming a mod.
5. Be friendly.

Heck, I don't post in the welcome forum to much. But, I've known Nickman for awhile now .

The administration group picks staff upon our discretion. Lashing out and making posts about "being angry" will not help your chances of being a moderator. Furthermore, this will just limit your chance of getting selected, if we ever are in need of more moderators.

It's based on how long you've been here, how nice you are, how helpful, and whether or not MyBBSource needs a mod. A few more things come into play, but those are the major ones.
