working on new custom theme. It won't export from my demo board correctly. The above error is after export when I try to reimport it to a new site.

I've tried hundreds of times nothing. It exports fine. No problems. But after I add my copyright to footer it doesn't export right. If I leave copyright out i works but after I add my copy right it refuses to work.

Does it modify the MyBB the copyright at all? Maybe they tried making hard to export with modifications to that. Although I highly doubt they would do that.

Well try exporting without it, adding it, editing, then exporting the edited version.

Yes good idea. Except I don't know where to add it. The exported version with out editing does not have a spot like end copyright, etc. So where do I add it.

When you modify footer.

Right before the line <!-- End copyright --> that is where I add my copyright.

When I export the theme without any changes it does not have a line that says <!-- End copyright --> so there is no place to add my copyright.

Just add it right after it. As it will do the same exact thing.

Oh! Your making the edits directly to the xml? I really wish I knew more about these kind of things . Umm I don't know now.
