So you saw our welcome block and thought, that's sweet! Well, I'm going to teach you how to do it for your site!

First you must open global.php, and find

PHP Code:

$lang->welcome_back = $lang->sprintf($lang->welcome_back, $mybb->user['username'], $lastvisit); 

Change to:

PHP Code:

$lang->welcome_back = $lang->sprintf($lang->welcome_back, $mybb->user['uid'],$mybb->user['username'], $lastvisit); 

Save.

Then you have to edit the language file.

Open inc/languages/YOUR LANGUAGE/global.lang.php

PHP Code:

$l['welcome_back'] = "<strong>Welcome back, {1}</strong>. You last visited: {2}"; 

Change to

PHP Code:

$l['welcome_back'] = "<strong>Welcome back, <a href='member.php?action=profile&uid={1}'>{2}</a></strong>. You last visited: {3}"; 

Save and done! I hope you enjoy your quick access
