I think you should stop people with under 5 posts from using the Spam Central forum, its nice its there but its obviously a very easy way to get your 5 posts, or it might just be easier to stop any posts in that forum from adding to your post count at all.

Yes, I agree with you.

I think Nick just implemented that because people were spamming the main forums, but Spam central is just ridiculous IMO.

Once I start releasing some of my newer projects that have a lot more work put behind them, that forum is gone! These new suckers are gonna require five good quality posts

You could of just disabled post count for that forum, really no need to delete it.

I only made one post in Spam Central, the rest were quality posts made by me, so I definitely wasn't cheating the system besides that one post.

A spam forum is not really a bad idea, most forums have one including mine. It gives members a place to actually be themselves without needing to follow every rule of the normal forums, basically minimal restrictions. However spamming in the normal sections is not to be encouraged nor tolerated.

I didn't delete it, just closed it I'm fine with people getting posts in like thread games and stuff, I just hated people who did wefasdfasdfasdf and called it a day :) This should work out better, so we'll see.

ya i really hate people who do that as well, on my forums or on other forums, just disrespectful to the author of the mod or plugin

You are lucky though, I'll give you that. I can't get anyone to post in my spam forum much less register and become an active member on my website.

Seems people sign up and leave or don't sign up at all. I've had quite a few members who signed up, made a post or two and abandoned the forum.:(
