Just so you all know, I am working on paid attachments. I was just thinking this out. Is it better to have it like :

A) you must HAVE this amount of credits per download OR
B) You will be CHARGED this amount of credits per download?

B i think. You will be Charged this amount.
Really cant wait for this one. This was one of my favorite plugins for the old 1.2.

I kinda like both of them. But I'd get tired of having to buy stuff all the time, I'm more for A.

B) As well then people will have to work harder to get stuff.

I mean with A they can just post for like a week and get everything.

Hrm... Yanno, if it isn't *too* hard, I'd kinda like to see both... either able to be toggled in the acp, or per attachment.

Ok, I've hit a slight snag on this plugin. I made it so that you can do both the above options, excluded usergroups and you can specify which groups can charge for attachments. I have it so when you add a new attachment you can set the price. The only issue here is I can't figure out how I can get it to edit the price without file edits. So unfortunately this will be put on hold until I can try and figure out the best way of going about this...

Couldn't you add a new field to the thread or attachment table? I'm just taking guesses as I really don't know how any thing would work.

Yeah I got that...It's the form that I can't get to work...

Oh maybe ask someone for help. I'm sure I could ask animusion(he's pretty good with php).

I just had an interesting idea for this. I'll probably try it out tommorrow :)
