If I leave for awhile and come back I am not logged in anymore. This is the only MyBB board where this happens to me. I tried clearing all cookies and starting again, but no help.

I get logged out as well, but not when actively browsing this forum.
I am quite sure that it may be a security feature we must have installed here.

Its all to do with the cookies. They're only stored for a certain amount of time on your computer. Technically, the remember me button should fix this, but it depends where you log in from. if you log in via the box on the left of the portal, you'll stay logged in (I do anyway).

I'm entering here: http://mybbsource.com/index.php. There is no "remember me" button. Maybe that's the problem.

It's because the Remember Me button is currently only on the Portal page .

Ok, I tried logging in on the portal page and it worked.

The reason is that when using the login bar cookies are set to expire after a certain time, but not via the portal when the remember me box is checked.
