Unfortunately yes you would have to embed it into the header and every time the page is reloaded it will start over again. You could however place a button some where so that members can turn on or off the background music.

There is a another solution you could use the flash I Pod player that was designed for Vb the author of the mod don't mind it being used with other board software and will offer no support to non Vb users.

The player is XML driven and works very well all you do is load up your Mp3 to a folder drop in the XML file that you will need to add all the Mp3's that you want to play and add a link. What I have done with it is make a custom HTML page so when you do open the link a small window will open with the I Pod player embedded into it and members can listen to any of the tunes in the player while they browse the forum.

There is player that will play back FLV vids that you can download from Tube and the like but that is another subject.

For a enhanced version of this MyCode not using microsoft you can use this instead.

You can't use MyCode on the index page. If you want a player there permanently you will need to edit your index template and use pure HTML Wink
