Byte, you don't HAVE to deactivate all of your plugins. This is just a small update, so you should be fine to just upgrade.

There are some new features and some features have just been improved.

Whoa that's fast. My board is still at 1.4.6 and 1.4.8 is out! I'm gonna upgrade soon.

When I updated my localhost from 1.4.4 to this one, it didn't mess anything up. However, I only have a few plugins active. My suggestion is to go to 1.4.5, 1.4.6, etc.
