And to be honest, I don't really like the organization, please change it. Something like MyBBSource's DB would be GREAT!

But I have to agree with the other, you are becoming a great modder.
Your latest plugins are just GREAT.

Keep working.

I will try... Big Grin

Not currently. I would suggest it though as it could be useful.

I will make that.

I will definitely use this plugin, however i might let a few more beta releases come out, i got rid of my test forums and im too lazy to make another =]

RE: [Public Beta] MyDownload Section
I thought of one more thing, in your code you created two(2) custom error messages (one to login and the other for permissions) - how about either using MyBB's error/login error page or changing the text of the two(2) to resemble the MyBB's internal error/login error page. I ask this as I can see my users sending me a mail asking "why did I get this?", but if there was an explanation inside the box and the ability to sign as a different user, they'd probably won't send this.

Of two equivalent theories or explanations, all other things being equal, the simpler one is to be preferred.

This is a great mod. Like somebody said as well, I'll wait until you upload the 3rd or 4th beta before installing this on a live site. Though, I'll give it a go on my dev site Wink

Thanks @DAMINK. Your warning came "a bit" to late! It seems that although I didn't let users upload files, my site was hacked. "Lucky" me, I had a backup set to a few hours before the hack.

Damn bad luck mate. As soon as i new i posted here. I did not get to start testing it until today so thats unfortunate.
Hope no one else has any issues with this.
It does prove the importance of daily backups though doesnt it. And testing on test forums also. Im guilty as charged though.

RE: [Public Beta] MyDownload Section
Thanks guys. As I said, I had a backup. This should teach me to load everything to a test site first.
@Alexandru21, will I have to translate your code from scratch again?

RE: [Public Beta] MyDownload Section
Found some more thinks:
1. When I delete a file/item from a category I'm jumped back in to the main page (of the MyDownloads page) - I think this should be changed so that you stay in the place you are.
2. On the matter of deleting a file/item: When you do delete the item from the category the file itself isn't being deleted from the folder. This can be a good thing if I can "resurrect" the deleted record/item, but for now this can cause a loss of "sync" between what records/items you have in the various categories and the files themselves

P.S. do note the PM I sent you.
