THIS IS FOR WINDOWS

Required Programs:
FileZilla
Tortoise SVN

Today I am going to show you how to get MyBB 1.6 via SVN. It is highly recommended that you only use this on a test forum and not on a production forum as it has a few bugs that are currently being worked on.

So, Lets get started, first download the 2 programs above and install them onto your computer.

Then create a new folder on your desktop for MyBB 1.6 to go to. You can call it whatever you want, this folder is just going to hold the contents for MyBB 1.6

Now, right click on the new folder you just created and click SVN Checkout.

Now it will ask you for the url of repository, use this url.
And leave everything else the way it is.

And now you have MyBB 1.6. I recommend re-checking out that folder everyday as the bugs are constantly being fixed.

Please do not use this on a production forum.

Thanks for this ;D Already gt a 1.6 demo install, but this could be helpful for others. I know one person using 1.6 on a live site >.> Pretty stupid, but oh well.

Your very welcome I have it on one of my 3 test forums and I have found one or two bugs but they have already been reported.

Thankyou... But the login of MyBB 1.6 doesn't work for me... On Firefox is OK but on Google Chrome he tell me:
"Login success.. bla bla redirect now..." but after that I'm not logged.
